PeakGen has today commissioned the second of its new power plants and successfully connected it to the UK electricity system. After proving and commissioning trials it will be made available to National Grid for STOR service. The plant has been delivered ahead of schedule and has performed under test in line with expectations. It is able to deliver in excess of the contracted output.
